In this module you will discover the basics of Google Analytics and what are the main differences compared to the previous version – Universal Analytics. You will discover what a session means for Google Analytics 4, how user interaction with the site is calculated and how conversions are attributed. This information will help you establish a solid foundation to ensure you are interpreting the data in the right way.

This module begins with an activity to familiarise yourself with the Google Analytics 4 interface, followed by a presentation of standard reports, how to customise them and the use of functions that allow us to interpret and analyse data to make better decisions regarding the activity of an online store.

For more in-depth data analysis, Google Analytics 4 provides us with the “Explore” section where we can create highly customized reports, designed to answer various questions. In this module you will learn how to build table reports, funnels specific to an online store, as well as other ways to explore and visualize data.
